I kept wanting to give agents real database access and kept getting nervous about it. A login lets an agent do anything that login can do, fast, and nobody’s reading along. So I built ariodb. It sits between your agents and Postgres, MySQL/MariaDB or ClickHouse, and agents just connect to it like a normal database (or use it as an MCP tool).
